New Workflow Module Seamlessly Integrates Reverse Mortgage Origination Process

image Reverse Mortgage Solutions recently announced that their reverse mortgage loan origination (RM Compass) system has added a new advanced workflow module.  The Spring, Texas based company released RM Compass in June to deliver a front end origination system to established reverse mortgage brokers and to give new players an easier way into the business.

The new embedded module is included in RM Compass and can accommodate each reverse mortgage originator’s distinctive workflow processes, replacing what had been historically a largely manual undertaking necessitated by the inordinately high number of documents involved. The module integrates all tools previously available in the LOS, including document imaging and third-party interfaces.

“The advanced workflow module in RM Compass is an out-of-the-box solution offered to Compass users at no additional cost,” says Chad Pupillo, RMS Director of Origination Systems, who designed the Task Logic functionality, which he described more fully.

“It manages a comprehensive list of all tasks that need to be completed before a loan can close, creating an accountability and responsibility through the assignment of tasks to the appropriate individuals within the organization. For example, an originator prints and completes the application documents; a processor orders an appraisal,” Pupillo says.
