New Counseling Service Free for Credit Union Members

Outsource Management (OMI), a managed communication service provider, has teamed up with nonprofit credit counseling and education provider CredAbility to roll out a new service that will offer direct access to personal financial education and housing counseling services to credit union members.

The new service, called, Statement2web, will allow credit union members to access personal financial education and credit and housing counseling services through CredAbility. Those services include free budget and credit analysis, free foreclosure prevention and reverse mortgage counseling, enrollment in debt management plans for those who qualify and unlimited access to CredAbility.org/education.

“This strategic alliance offers best-in-class credit counseling that can help credit union members achieve and maintain financial stability in tough economic times,” said OMI Chief Executive Officer Brad Banyas. “We’ve delivered Communication Management Services to CredAbility for 10 years, and we see their excellent reputation, combined with demand for superior credit counseling services, as a natural added-value solution for our credit union clients.”
