Generation Mortgage announced Friday it has hired Cheryl MacNally as the company’s Chief Sales Officer.

MacNally brings 25 years of mortgage banking experience with the last 10 being in the reverse mortgage industry. Most recently, she served as the National Sales Manager for Wells Fargo where she was responsible for building their reverse mortgage sales team.

“Cheryl brings to the Generation Mortgage team a deep understanding of all aspects of the reverse mortgage industry and has the ability to take Generation’s origination business and services to the next level,” said Colin Cushman, chief risk and strategy officer of Generation Mortgage. “Her leadership and vision at Wells, including her ability to maintain top market share during her tenure, will be invaluable to our company as we continue to provide unparalleled products and services to our customers across the country.”

During her tenure at Wells Fargo, MacNally served on the executive board of directors and co-chaired the National Reverse Mortgage Lenders Association.

Generation Mortgage is the seventh largest reverse mortgage lender in the country according to data from Reverse Market Insight.
