The reverse mortgage division of FirstBank is expanding its team with several new hires.
The company announced this week it has hired Gennaro Faiola—who brings more than 10 years of reverse mortgage experience—as West Coast area manager.
Faiola will oversee several new hires, all experienced reverse mortgage originators: Kathleen Dalzell, Suzanne Causley and Barry Korogodsky. Faiola and Dalzell are based in California, Causley is based in Arizona and Korogodsky is in Illinois.
“These latest hires bring a tremendous amount of experience and enthusiasm to our growing team and we are very happy to have them,” the company said in a press release. “Being led by an experienced industry professional like Faiola, we are confident that our continued expansion will be both strategic and successful.”
FirstBank has also hired Michael Benke as a reverse mortgage specialist based in South Carolina.
Earlier this year, the company expanded its reverse mortgage presence in the northeast with the hires of Robert Totten and Ed O’Connor.
Headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama, FirstBank’s reverse mortgage division is led by Division Manager Dan Barksdale and Director of Mortgage Operations Robert Henger.
