Many financial institutions enabled Bernard Madoff’s Ponzi scheme but a newly unsealed lawsuit alleges that JPMorgan Chase was “at the very center” of the fraud and “thoroughly complicit in it.” The lawsuit had been sealed at the request of JPMorgan after it was brought in December–now we can understand why.
