Walker & Dunlop (WD) hired Brian Casey, who will join the company’s proprietary capital group beginning May 23. 

Casey will be responsible for managing Walker & Dunlop’s proprietary fixed rate and bridge loan funds, which are both currently in development. 

Casey joins Walker & Dunlop from MetLife (MET), where he was responsible for their domestic and international commercial whole loan lending operation.

In addition to loan production, Casey was responsible for overseeing MetLife’s general account mortgage loan portfolio.
