Eve Plumb, who you might recognize better as Jan from “The Brady Bunch,” not only struck it big in real estate, but she is reaping the benefits from a decision she made when she was 11-years-old.
According to an article by Neal Leitereg in the Los Angeles Times, with the help of her parents, Plumb bought the oceanfront property in 1969 for just $55,300, and now in 2016, she announced she sold the home from $3.9 million.
From the piece:
Sitting at the south end of Escondido Beach, the 1950s cottage returned to market earlier this year with plans for an ultramodern residence designed by Meis Architects, designer of the Staples Center, among other venues.
In all, the proposed home would have three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms in 3,500 square feet of space.
