Sutherland Mortgage Services, a division of Sutherland Global Services announced it added two industry veterans Michael Danlag as global service delivery head of mortgage servicing and Kim Hoffman as the new global head of mortgage operations.
Danlag (pictured left) brings more than 25 years of experience. Prior to joining the company, Danlag recently served as vice president of loan servicing and post-closing for PHH Mortgage. His accomplishments include helping implement the Home Affordable Modification Program within the loss mitigation area. He also led a call center outsourcing project that resulted in substantial annual savings.
Before PHH Mortgage, he also worked at Countrywide Home Loans, American Express and Bank of America. His experience includes managing multiple departments within the post-closing and loan servicing function, such as escrow, default, customer service, document control, payment processing and finance within a first mortgage, and Home Equity Line of Credit loan.
With more than 25 years of experience in the mortgage banking industry, Hoffman (pictured right) joins Sutherland from Morgan Stanley’s residential lending unit where she served as chief operations officer. Her career includes managing large scale mortgage operations for The Royal Bank of Canada, American Business Financial Services, Fleet Financial Group, and Chrysler First Financial Services.
Her broad background includes end-to-end mortgage operations, underwriting & credit risk, loan administration, servicing and default management, compliance, process engineering, secondary marketing, and loan originations.
