AmeriSave appoints Gary Suess as EVP of sales

Moves to company after CertusBank acquisition

AmeriSave Mortgage Corporation appointed Gary Suess as executive vice president of sales.

Previously, Suess was executive vice president and head of mortgage banking at CertusBank.

Back in September, AmeriSave announced it would acquire a large portion of CertusBank’s mortgage division, including the majority of its employees and facilities.

“I am excited to join the AmeriSave team and to help lead the diversification of its origination channels while building on a rich history of success,” Suess said.

Regarding the integration, Suess said, “We see this as a great combination of team members and business relationships. The CertusBank mortgage group provides a traditional retail channel to complement AmeriSave’s leading consumer direct and third party origination channels.”

AmeriSave now has traditional retail lending branches in Atlanta, Charlotte, Granite Falls, North Carolina, Fayetteville, North Carolina, Columbia, South Carolina, Sumter, South Carolina, and Greenville, South Carolina.

While these branches currently employ nearly 30 mortgage loan officers, the company is looking to actively expand.
