Chicago-based Guaranteed Rate named Cliff Theriault as regional manager and will be based in the company’s Schaumburg, Illinois office.
In his new role, Theriault will support the company’s regional managers nationwide in their efforts to recruit top loan originators and will be responsible for sales leadership and mentoring originators.
Theriault brings more than 40 years of experience in the mortgage industry.
Previously, Theriault was Great Lakes and Northeast regional manager of consumer services at CMG Financial, and he also previously served as executive vice president and national production manager at American Portfolio Mortgage.
Additionally, he has served as the president of his own mortgage consulting firm, CJT Consulting, and is a former president of the Illinois Mortgage Bankers Association.
