According to CNBC, stock markets experienced a whirlwind of change Thursday, with stocks plunging in the midst of the worst selling spree since June.

Yields have been rising, and the pace of bond selling picked up after weekly jobless claims fell to the lowest level since 2007, CNBC wrote.
