Two Broward County residents have pleaded guilty to making false statements on a real estate settlement form in connection with a mortgage fraud scheme. Monique Mitchell of Pembroke Pines and Sheldon Martin of Plantation entered the plea Thursday in West Palm Beach federal court. Sentencing is scheduled for July 21. They face up to five years in prison.
