Rhiannon Bolen is vice president of New Business Development at Optimal Blue, where she works with lenders and industry partners to help maximize profitability, improve operational efficiency and leverage mortgage technology solutions. With nearly 25 years of experience spanning operations, underwriting, mortgage insurance, credit risk, capital markets, title and mortgage technology, she brings a broad perspective to her role and to the industry as a whole.
Since joining Optimal Blue in 2026, Bolen has focused on expanding relationships, enhancing business development strategies and helping clients understand how technology can improve performance across the mortgage lifecycle. Optimal Blue’s platform supports more than 35% of all mortgages locked nationwide, and Bolen plays an important role in helping lenders utilize those capabilities to improve results and increase operational capacity.
Bolen has made leadership development a central part of her industry involvement. She has sponsored multiple Certified Mortgage Banker candidates throughout their designation process, with each successfully earning the credential. She founded Texas Women Mortgage Bankers, an organization created to provide networking, development and leadership opportunities for women in mortgage banking. What began with 45 members has grown to a network of more than 550 professionals across the state.
Bolen is also active in industry advocacy. She serves as vice chair of MORPAC; participates in the Mortgage Bankers Association’s Advocacy and Political Action Committee; and has been a longtime board member of the Texas Mortgage Bankers Association. Through her work in business development, mentorship and advocacy, she contributes to the advancement of the mortgage industry.
