Jackie Young is senior vice president of Sales and Acquisitions at Freedom Mortgage, where she leads Correspondent Lending Operations and Servicing Acquisitions. With more than 25 years of mortgage industry experience, she has built deep expertise across correspondent lending, servicing acquisitions, operational strategy and large-scale organizational growth.
Since joining Freedom Mortgage in 2016, Young has led several of the company’s most important operational initiatives, including the integration of the USDA platform into Correspondent Originations, the expansion of the Flow MSR Co-Issue program and the oversight of bulk servicing acquisition operations. In 2023, she assumed responsibility for all Correspondent Operations, bringing multiple functions together under a unified operational strategy.
Over the past year, Young led operational efforts supporting a significant increase in correspondent lending activity while overseeing more than $71 billion in servicing acquisitions. She also championed the adoption of automated decisioning tools, expanded OCR capabilities and AI-enabled technologies that improved processing efficiency and reduced manual workflows. Her teams supported production from more than 460 correspondent clients while maintaining quality and service standards.
Young is also committed to leadership development and mentorship, promoting multiple team members into leadership positions over the past year while encouraging broader adoption of AI and technology throughout her organization. Through her leadership, Freedom Mortgage has strengthened operational scalability, efficiency and long-term growth capabilities.
