Denise Vieira is general counsel at Qualia, where she leads legal strategy, governance, risk management and regulatory oversight for one of the title and escrow industry’s leading technology providers. With more than 20 years of experience across high-growth technology companies, she has built a career focused on helping organizations scale while balancing innovation, compliance and business objectives.
Since being promoted to general counsel in late 2025, Vieira has played a key role in several major initiatives. She led the legal integration of Qualia’s acquisition of RamQuest and OP2 while overseeing litigation strategy and providing guidance on matters affecting intellectual property and technology development. At the same time, she directed the creation of one of the title industry’s early AI governance frameworks, helping establish policies, vendor review processes and risk management standards for artificial intelligence applications.
Vieira has also focused on improving operational efficiency within the legal function. Through the implementation of workflows, contract playbooks and technology-enabled review processes, her team significantly increased capacity while maintaining responsiveness and service levels. Her work has helped position the legal department as a strategic partner across product, engineering and executive leadership teams.
