Christine Hansen is the 2026 president-elect of the National Association of REALTORS® and broker-owner of Century 21 Hansen Realty in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. A second-generation real estate professional with nearly four decades of experience, Hansen built a career centered on advocacy, professional development and expanding access to homeownership.
Since entering real estate in 1987 and earning her broker’s license in 1989, Hansen has helped lead the family brokerage founded by her mother in 1977. At the same time, she devoted decades of service to organized real estate at the local, state and national levels. Her volunteer leadership includes service as Florida REALTORS® President, NAR REALTOR® Party Director and NAR Vice President of Advocacy.
Over the course of her career, Hansen served on more than 175 committees and task forces focused on advocacy, strategic planning, professional standards, public policy and member engagement. She is a member of the RPAC Hall of Fame and has remained actively involved in initiatives that support REALTOR® advocacy efforts and consumer access to homeownership.
As NAR president-elect, Hansen is helping guide the association during a period of significant change and strategic transformation. Her leadership focuses on member engagement, advocacy, organizational trust and ensuring that REALTORS® have the tools and resources needed to succeed in a rapidly evolving housing market.
Beyond her professional leadership, Hansen supports community organizations focused on education, accessibility and service. Through her longstanding commitment to advocacy and member leadership, she continues to influence the future direction of organized real estate and the professionals it serves.
