Sydney Barber plays a central role in shaping Floify’s product strategy, leading the development of tools that help lenders modernize the loan application process while maintaining compliance and scalability. As head of product, Barber oversees the design and delivery of new capabilities within Floify’s point-of-sale platform.
Since joining Floify in 2019, Barber has helped guide the company’s product evolution, building solutions that improve both lender efficiency and borrower experience. Her work has focused on creating flexible systems that allow lenders to configure workflows while maintaining compliance with industry standards.
Over the past year, Barber has overseen several major product launches designed to expand Floify’s capabilities and address new lending scenarios. In 2025, she led the rollout of Dynamic Apps, a feature that allows lenders to tailor loan applications based on loan purpose, including HELOCs, construction loans and Non-QM products, while remaining fully compliant.
More recently, Barber has guided the development of Dynamic AI 2.0, scheduled to launch in March 2026. The update is designed to enhance application workflows by intelligently supporting lender configuration and borrower guidance, improving completion rates and operational efficiency.
Under Barber’s leadership, Floify maintains a customer satisfaction rating of 98.2%, reflecting a consistent focus on solving real-world lender challenges while improving the borrower experience.
Outside of her professional work, Barber volunteers with Habitat for Humanity in Boulder and serves as a volunteer judge for Colorado Future Business Leaders of America.
What is one habit that has helped you succeed?
When I run into tough problems or tricky situations, I practice ownership. I ask myself, “If I were the CEO of this company, what would my solution be?” Approaching challenges this way pushes me to think strategically and take responsibility rather than immediately pulling in others. More often than not, it leads me to a strong, well-reasoned solution. This habit has consistently helped me grow and succeed as a leader, a peer and an employee.
