Shaun Harkley has played a key role in building the sales organization and go-to-market strategy behind Rechat’s recent growth. As head of Sales, Harkley joined the company during a pivotal stage of expansion and helped formalize the sales function while continuing to lead major enterprise partnerships.

In addition to managing enterprise sales opportunities, Harkley helped design the operational structure needed to scale the team. He implemented customer relationship management (CRM) discipline, forecasting frameworks and account segmentation models, while establishing territories and rules of engagement that aligned sales, marketing and customer success. These systems enabled Rechat to expand revenue while maintaining consistency in how brokerages are supported throughout the buying and implementation process.

Under Harkley’s leadership, Rechat secured partnerships with a number of prominent brokerages, including LPT Realty, Russ Lyon Sotheby’s, The Agency, Rennie, Pinnacle Estate Properties, Chinowth & Cohen and Macdonald Realty, among others. These relationships helped support a period in which the company doubled revenue year over year, more than tripled its customer base and achieved strong product adoption among brokerage clients.

Harkley also led Rechat’s expansion into the small to medium-sized business (SMB) and team segments, developing a new go-to-market strategy that included market segmentation, compensation design, recruiting and channel partnerships. This initiative expanded the company’s addressable market and strengthened its relevance across brokerages and teams.

Known for his relationship-driven leadership style, Harkley works closely with product, marketing and executive leadership to ensure market feedback informs product development and overall strategy.

What is one habit that has helped you succeed?

Early in my career, I learned that you don’t need to be the most experienced person in the room to stand out -— you just need to be excellent at the things that require zero talent. I focused obsessively on effort, preparation, attitude and coachability. Being on time, coming prepared, asking thoughtful questions and taking feedback seriously were always within my control. Over time, those habits compounded. They created trust, accelerated my learning and opened doors. That mindset has stayed with me as my responsibilities have grown and continues to shape how I show up and lead.
