Megan Peagler has become a key leader in how Cenlar approaches performance, automation and enterprise data strategy. As senior vice president of Automation and Performance, she operates at the intersection of regulatory requirements, operational execution and long-term transformation, helping the organization build systems that support both scale and trust.

Over the past year, Peagler has led an enterprise-wide effort to improve how leaders and clients use data to manage performance, risk and execution. Her work has centered on creating shared, trusted insights that allow teams to move faster and make decisions with greater confidence. By aligning performance metrics, priorities, regulatory requirements and risk into a common operating view, she has helped improve operational effectiveness and decision velocity across the company.

A major part of that work has involved modernizing Cenlar’s data foundations before existing systems became a limiting factor. Peagler has prioritized strong data architecture, clearer ownership and governance by design so the organization is better positioned for advanced analytics and AI-enabled capabilities while maintaining regulatory confidence.

She has also led the development of work orchestration capabilities that integrate data, workflow and controls more tightly across the enterprise. The result is a shift away from reactive, manual oversight toward a more proactive, system-driven model that supports efficiency without sacrificing compliance.

Peagler is known for turning complexity into practical, scalable solutions. Her leadership continues to strengthen Cenlar’s ability to innovate responsibly while delivering reliable outcomes for clients in a changing servicing environment.

What is one thing you would tell a younger version of yourself?

Early in my career, I felt a constant pull to move fast and solve problems immediately. What I’ve learned over time is that urgency is situational, but clarity is durable — especially when you’re building for the future while still operating at scale today. Taking the time to align on definitions, ownership and what success really looks like upfront allows teams to deliver excellence in the present while creating the foundations needed to evolve, innovate and grow. When teams are clear on what matters and why, execution becomes faster, more confident and more sustainable.
