It has to be consistency. This business has a lot of highs and lows, especially the last few years, and I’ve learned that the people who win long term aren’t the most hyped — they’re the most consistent. I show up every day, follow up when I say I will, structure loans carefully and stay in front of my referral partners whether the market is hot or not.
