Henry Broeksmit has emerged as a key leader at MAXEX, helping guide the company’s growth while contributing across multiple areas of the organization. Recently promoted to managing director and head of Trading and Strategic Initiatives, Broeksmit works across capital markets, strategy and operations to support the company’s evolving role in the non-agency mortgage market.
Over the past year, Broeksmit has continued to play a central role in scaling MAXEX’s Non-QM platform, which launched in 2023. He maintains strong relationships with dealers, insurance companies and asset managers while serving as a strategic point of contact for several of the company’s most important seller partners.
Broeksmit is widely recognized internally for his ability to operate across multiple disciplines, contributing insights and solutions across capital markets, operations, finance and credit. His work also extends into corporate development, where he has been involved in several strategic transactions and capital markets initiatives supporting the company’s broader growth strategy.
He began his career with MAXEX as an intern while still in college and joined the company full time after graduation. Since then, he has developed a reputation for analytical thinking, collaboration and a strong understanding of secondary market structure and risk.
