As senior technical product manager at Experian, he led the creation of the company’s Mortgage Loan Performance dataset, bringing together loan-level performance, credit and portfolio data to deliver more complete visibility into borrower behavior, delinquency trends and recapture opportunities.
Over the past year, Paintal has played a major role in expanding the reach and usability of that dataset. By embedding prepayment, credit risk and valuation models directly into Experian’s Ascend platform, he reduced client analytics runtimes from months to hours, cutting manual workflows and lowering operational overhead. He also led integration of the Mortgage Loan Performance dataset into partner ecosystems and the Snowflake Marketplace, helping shorten sales cycles from months to days and enabling more than 200 financial institutions to access analytics-ready, loan-level data on demand.
In parallel, Paintal optimized Experian’s 15-billion-record Mortgage Loan Performance dataset to support faster cohorting, visualization and model testing. That work broadened its application across prepayment forecasting, credit risk modeling, whole loan valuation and secondary market analytics, while helping address longstanding data fragmentation across originations, servicing and capital markets.
