Aleyna Groves is combining high-volume mortgage operations experience with technology innovation to help reshape how mortgage teams scale. As chief operating officer and co-owner of Groves Capital and founder and chief executive officer of Groves IQ, Groves has spent the past year driving both operational growth and the launch of an AI-powered platform built to solve real production challenges.
At Groves Capital, she helps lead the infrastructure behind a nationwide mortgage platform with more than $7 billion in funded volume, a network of 500-plus loan officers and more than 160 lender approvals across broker and correspondent channels. Her leadership supports growth across residential, commercial and specialty lending while improving execution, speed and internal visibility.
Over the past year, Groves also founded and scaled Groves IQ, an AI-driven mortgage automation platform designed from the operational pain points experienced within Groves Capital. In its first year, the platform gained national recognition, including being named a 2026 HousingWire Tech100 Mortgage honoree. Under her leadership, Groves IQ was positioned as an enterprise-ready solution aimed at reducing the manual complexity that follows loan approval and condition clearing.
The platform replaces more than 30 manual steps, including condition organization, document routing and multiparty communication, with a more streamlined automated workflow. That model improves speed to close, reduces operational friction and increases consistency across loan officers, processors and partners.
Groves leads with a focus on positivity, gratitude, integrity and service, while also taking a systems-level approach to problem-solving. Her work across both companies continues to reflect a blend of operational execution, technology creation and industry influence.
What is one habit that has helped you succeed?
Seeing life positively has helped me through everything. Even in moments when it feels like the world is falling apart, I believe there is always a lesson to learn and a solution to create — if you’re bold enough to see the path and take action. Most of the time, you can come out stronger than you were before if you keep a positive mindset, stay consistent every day and execute relentlessly toward your goals one step at a time — with a smile and gratitude for what you already have.
