Adam Krahn has helped shape Cotality’s role as a major data and intelligence provider across the housing industry. Recently promoted to vice president of Mortgage Strategy and Alliances for Mortgage & Payment Solutions, Krahn brings years of mortgage and data leadership experience to a role focused on strategic planning, partnerships and market opportunity.
Before stepping into his new position, Krahn led Cotality’s Data Management and Analytics organization, where he played a central role in the company’s sourcing and partnership strategy for U.S. property records. His leadership helped ensure that Cotality’s data repository remained grounded in high-quality, direct-source information, strengthening the foundation for a wide range of products and analytics tools.
Over the past year, Krahn also helped oversee the teams behind CLIP ID, an initiative designed to link disparate property records and create a more complete, verified view of the property ecosystem. In parallel, he guided the central analytics team and helped shape the company’s approach to Responsible AI through leadership of model review and AI governance efforts. His oversight helped ensure that Cotality’s market-facing models remained accurate, compliant and reliable amid changing market conditions.
Now in his new strategy and alliances role, Krahn is focused on connecting the value of Cotality’s data and intelligence to mortgage clients and industry partners more directly. His work centers on identifying new market opportunities, strengthening partnerships and helping define the standards that will shape mortgage and property data strategy in the years ahead.
What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?
Early in my career, I was encouraged to assemble a “Personal Board of Directors,” a developmental network of mentors who have nothing in common except a commitment to my own growth. Since then, peers, industry veterans and outsiders have pressure-tested my career moves, helped me identify blind spots and provided a range of perspectives. This framework is a primary engine for staying curious; it ensures that the leadership I bring to my role is the result of rigorous, multifaceted thinking.
