Since joining SCCU in 2025, Wilkes has built a comprehensive multi-channel marketing strategy spanning paid media, automation, AI-powered tools, content marketing and member intelligence.
Over the past 12 months, he rebuilt the organization’s pay-per-click (PPC) and digital advertising strategy across platforms including Google Search, Meta, YouTube and Performance Max, achieving a blended cost per click of just $3.23 across all channels. He also introduced mortgage-focused social media campaigns, search engine optimization (SEO)-driven content strategies and automated retention programs designed to keep loan officers connected to past customers.
One of Wilkes’ most significant contributions has been implementing a homeowner financial intelligence platform that monitors opportunities within SCCU’s 24,000-member database for refinance and home equity opportunities. The resulting campaigns have produced engagement metrics far above industry averages, including a 71% open rate on the organization’s Home Digest email sequence.
Wilkes also developed an AI-powered loan cost analysis tool that achieved full adoption across the loan officer team, helping improve efficiency and customer communication.
