Neda Navab serves as the president of Brokerage Operations at Compass Real Estate, overseeing a $6 billion business with a network of 400 to 500 offices and approximately 35,000 independent contractor agents across the United States. She began her career at Compass as chief of staff to CEO Robert Reffkin and quickly became a key figure during periods of rapid growth, including navigating the challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. In her current role, Navab is responsible for managing the company’s profit and loss, focusing on driving revenue growth through platform adoption, retention strategies and the integration of ancillary services, while maintaining overall profitability.
A significant part of her work involves leading Compass’ expansion through mergers and acquisitions. Over the past two years, she has overseen the integration of real estate businesses in multiple markets including Texas, Tennessee, Louisiana, Washington, D.C., Chicago and Atlanta. Most recently, she led the complex integration of Christie’s, managing financial synergies and the challenges of an international presence. Navab’s approach combines technology and scalability in an industry traditionally centered on offline operations, helping to strengthen Compass’ competitive position.
Throughout her tenure, she has guided the company through various market cycles — from the initial impact of the pandemic to periods of rapid growth and market shifts — while expanding into new geographic areas. Currently, she is focused on scaling operations to support high-value segments such as luxury markets and top-producing teams. Her strategic and operational oversight continues to influence Compass’ direction and market presence.
