Mary Lee Blaylock is president of Brokerage at Sotheby’s International Realty, where she leads the company-owned brokerage business across 48 offices in top-tier luxury markets. In this role, she supports more than 2,300 affiliated agents responsible for generating $20 billion in sales volume in 2024. A member of the brand’s senior leadership team, Blaylock plays a central role in shaping the strategy and operations of the brokerage business nationwide.
Blaylock began her career as a real estate agent and brokerage manager, building deep expertise across all aspects of residential real estate. Prior to joining Sotheby’s International Realty in 2025, she held senior roles at some of the industry’s most recognized organizations. At HomeServices of America, Inc., she led transformation efforts across 35 companies and brands, focusing on operational consistency and cultural alignment. Earlier in her career, she was president and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties, overseeing 56 offices and more than 3,000 agents while also launching the company’s National Luxury Division.
With over three decades in the industry, Blaylock brings a mix of strategic vision and hands-on leadership. Since joining Sotheby’s International Realty, she has emphasized direct engagement — visiting offices, meeting with agents and reinforcing alignment across regions. Her approach is already contributing to increased collaboration, stronger agent relationships and renewed focus in key markets.
Blaylock has been recognized by the Swanepoel Power 200 and was inducted into RISMedia’s Hall of Fame in 2023, reflecting her long-standing influence in the real estate space.
