Joni Pilgrim

Joni Pilgrim is the chief executive officer and co-founder of Nationwide Appraisal Network (NAN), a company she helped establish in 2004. Over the past two decades, she has played a central role in shaping the appraisal management industry through the integration of technology and process automation. Under her leadership, NAN has introduced several operational innovations, including a communication solution that allows vendors to manage orders via SMS and a proprietary quality control system that has improved efficiency and service standards.

In the last year, Pilgrim has focused on reinforcing NAN’s ability to adapt to changing market conditions. This has included prioritizing flexibility, enhancing client service and driving internal resilience. Her leadership has helped NAN maintain strong relationships with clients while expanding its capabilities. As a result, the company has seen considerable growth, including the onboarding of over 3,000 clients and a 500% increase in both order volume and revenue over the last five years.

Outside of NAN, Pilgrim co-founded RISE, Women in Mortgage, a national organization dedicated to supporting women across the mortgage industry. RISE hosts networking and educational events, including an annual conference that has attracted hundreds of professionals. Pilgrim is also involved in community initiatives. She founded Backpacks 4 Kids in 2013, a nonprofit that supplies school materials to local Title I schools. She supports causes including the American Cancer Society and the Children’s Cancer Center, reflecting a consistent commitment to community impact alongside her work in the real estate sector.
