What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

I don’t know if this is the best advice, but the most useful is ‘Don’t focus on owning the content, focus on owning the room’. For me, that means that I need to be so fluent and comfortable with the content that I’m sharing that I can focus on how the content is resonating with my audience, and tailor my approach and delivery in real time, based on the room.
