Rather than treating AI as an add-on, Venkatramani made it an orchestration layer across mortgage, home equity and consumer lending. Early pilots show dramatic results: quality-control reviews cut from 20 minutes to 30 seconds, borrower income and deposit analysis automated with full traceability and compliance checks handled at upload instead of post-close.
He also launched Rapid Home Lending, transforming refinance and home equity workflows into personalized, pre-approved offers delivered within moments of borrower intent. Within a year, participating lenders saw 20% higher pull-through and 50% faster closings.
