Under Jones’s leadership, MMI launched ChatMMI, the industry’s first conversational AI for mortgage intelligence, allowing lenders to ask natural-language questions and receive instant, data-backed answers, thus eliminating the delay of dashboards or static reports. He led a comprehensive data quality initiative that expanded MLS coverage to 98.5% of U.S. counties, improved mortgage-to-real-estate linkages by 35% and strengthened data depth in underserved markets—all while maintaining rigorous standards for governance, compliance and security.
Before joining MMI, Jones spent 17 years at Rocket Companies, where he helped design and scale Rocket’s multi-petabyte data platform, which powered more than 3.7 billion AI-driven decisions annually and achieved client retention rates exceeding 90%. Jones brings that vision to MMI, enabling more than 450 enterprise clients to operate with real-time intelligence and precision.
Jones is leading the launch of Pathways Home, a consumer-facing experience connecting borrowers to their loan officer for life with home valuations, equity tracking and loan health insights.
