Lydia is the driving force behind one of the most critical functions at Vesta: implementations. As head of Implementations, she has played an instrumental role in onboarding Vesta’s earliest customers and has since taken on the challenge of building this function from the ground up. Her ownership mentality, attention to detail and ability to execute at the highest level have made her indispensable to the company’s success.
A seamless implementation process is foundational to Vesta’s growth, and Green is the person leading and shaping it. Implementing a new loan origination system (LOS) is one of the most complex and demanding aspects of the lending process, often requiring months of meticulous coordination, rigorous execution and minimal business disruption for lenders. Without a best-in-class implementations function, lenders would struggle to transition successfully, and without successful implementations, Vesta’s software would not gain traction in the market. Over the past year, Green has scaled this function to meet the demands of a rapidly growing customer base. As more lenders embark on implementation, the complexity increases, and Green has risen to the challenge — hiring, mentoring and leading a high-performing team while maintaining an unwavering focus on execution.
Green is a standout leader. She sets a high bar while fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration, earning the trust and respect of her team and her customers. Her ability to guide lenders through a transformational shift in their workflow has reinforced Vesta’s reputation for excellence, making her an invaluable asset to the company’s success.
What is one thing you would tell a younger version of yourself?
When in doubt, do the next right thing. This work can be overwhelming — challenges arise constantly, and the path forward isn’t always clear. In those moments, I’ve learned to focus on what I can control: taking the next meaningful step forward. Truly do not underestimate the power of making the to-do list. Whether it’s solving a customer issue, helping navigate complex project dynamics or making a tough decision, momentum is everything. Progress isn’t about having all the answers at once — it’s about consistently moving forward, one step at a time.
