2025 HousingWire Insider: Cristy Conolly

Cristy Conolly

Cristy Conolly is the executive vice president of Quality at Class Valuation, where she leads efforts to modernize quality control (QC) processes and drive operational improvements across the organization. With over two decades in the appraisal industry — including 14 years in AMC leadership — Conolly brings deep experience to a role that demands both strategic oversight and technical innovation.

Over the past year, Conolly has led the transformation of Class Valuation’s QC function, introducing generative AI tools in partnership with engineering and product teams. These tools are designed to reduce turn times, minimize revision rates and identify complex appraisal issues more efficiently. Her work comes at a time when Class Valuation is integrating six separate platforms from recent mergers, with a goal of full consolidation by the end of 2025.

Conolly’s leadership reflects a blend of operational rigor and future-facing strategy. Her ability to lead through complex transitions — while continuing to improve speed and accuracy — has helped shape the company’s evolving approach to valuation quality. Her impact is also felt across the industry: she previously served as chair of the Florida Real Estate Appraisal Board and has contributed to multiple advisory boards and committees.

In 2023, Conolly became the first female recipient of the Collateral Risk Network’s Evaluation Visionary award, a peer-nominated honor recognizing leadership and advancement in the valuation field. Her continued focus on modernization, accuracy and team performance reflects her long-standing commitment to improving the appraisal industry from the inside out.
