As the architect of the Figure Connect strategy, he has transformed the firm’s business model into a capital-light approach that incentivizes partners to scale alongside the company.
Stevens’ expertise in blockchain technology has been instrumental in advancing Figure’s operations and offerings. His leadership was a driving force behind three of the company’s most significant achievements in the past year: the launches of Figure Connect and DART, as well as the expansion of the firm’s securitization program. Figure Connect, a first-of-its-kind private credit marketplace, streamlines loan origination and provides benefits across the ecosystem. He also spearheaded the launch of DART, an advanced electronic registry for liens and debt instruments that enhances investor confidence, asset liquidity and operational efficiency. Within six months of launch, major industry players, including Goldman Sachs, Jeffries and Deutsche Bank, had adopted the technology.
Under Stevens’ leadership, Figure has significantly increased its securitization activity, completing seven deals in 2024 compared to four the previous year, with a goal of 12 in 2025. His ability to navigate complex challenges and foster strong industry relationships has positioned Figure as a trusted leader in financial markets.
