Albert Einstein said, “Setting an example is not the main means of influencing others, it is the only means.” A strong female leader, Lori Muller has not only walked in the shoes of those she is leading, but now empowers the growth of those same people utilizing the experiences, lessons and education that she received in various leadership roles: teaching others how to embrace failures and change, learning to adapt and finding balance in their roles as leaders, taking responsibility and accountability as needed, pursuing goals and their passions with an eagerness to continually learn, and celebrating their achievements along the way. She has inspired many to elevate their business, through transaction and relationship growth, to ownership and brokerage opportunities.

Muller’s career in real estate began in 2003, soon starting the first real estate team in her city and earning numerous awards along the way. In 2007, she bought the first EXIT Realty franchise in Wisconsin. She served as a regional director while growing her brand footprint to three brokerages, all while maintaining a successful real estate team. In 2020, Muller was appointed vice president of the U.S. Organization for EXIT Realty Corp. International, a position created to reflect her talents for internal growth. Within a year, she was appointed president and sold her brokerages to concentrate on increasing EXIT Realty’s footprint across the U.S., particularly focusing on the growth and development of agents and brokers and attracting new talent to the company.

One of Muller’s proudest achievements was chartering a network of the National Women’s Council of REALTORS to fill the need in her area for empowering and educating women in the real estate industry. She eventually took the helm of the organization as state president, regional vice president, and then elected to the National Executive Committee.

Listening more than talking. You can support others, reach critical decisions, resolve conflict, attract leaders, and build amazing teams of people when you just listen.
