Sydney Barber joined Floify in 2019, and her outstanding product leadership has quickly propelled her through the ranks to head of product. As a hands-on leader for every new feature and integration, she’s spearheaded more than 100 product updates in the last three years. Barber’s dedication to continuously adding value for Floify users directly contributed to the company achieving a 97.6% customer satisfaction score in 2023.

Over the last year, Barber has spearheaded dozens of product enhancements to help its customers operate more efficiently in a volatile market. In December 2023, Barber’s team launched Floify Broker Edition to make managing loans simpler for brokers at an accessible price point. Broker Edition comes equipped with four pillar features that enable brokers to use the platform in lieu of a traditional loan origination system or as a complement to their existing LOS. Barber developed the product after spending countless hours with more than 70 Floify customers to understand how they needed the technology to work. In March 2024, Floify announced the release of Floify Lender Edition, which introduces a number of enhancements and new integrations that benefit mortgage lenders. And in Fall 2023, Barber released a verification of income (VOI) and verification of employment (VOE) feature that enables mortgage professionals to view the results of multiple verification reports from different providers, starting with the least expensive, rather than having to run each one individually. The feature saves Floify clients time while also realizing cost savings. 

Outside of work, Barber participates in the Habitat for Humanity home building project in Boulder with her Floify teammates. She is also a volunteer judge for the Colorado Future Business Leaders of America (FLBA), recently judging a contest on graphic designs for new businesses.
