As vice president of product for Solidifi, the leading independent provider of residential real estate appraisals and title and settlement services, Jillian Downing leads product strategy for the company’s proprietary network management platform technology North American wide. With clients including the top 100 mortgage lenders in the U.S. and some of the largest banks and insurance companies in North America, the proprietary technology and network management capabilities under Downing’s purview are critical in delivering an extraordinary homeownership experience every time and driving continued innovation and value for Solidifi’s clients every day.

Downing’s recent accomplishments include leading the company’s roadmap for valuations modernization in both the U.S. and Canada, the launch of multiple new product offerings, pilots focused on delivering an extraordinary consumer experience and optimized consumer purchase experience, multiple client and third-party integration launches and the continued evolution of Solidifi’s extraordinary closing experience – aligning the end-to-end closing experience across valuations and closing. In addition to leading the organization and industry in the strategy, design and implementation of new products and services to empower the consumer experience, Jill is also a full-time mother, mentor and cheerleader for her son who recently was drafted to a Junior semi-Pro Hockey team in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL).

What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?

Invest in figuring out what you love to do most and determine your superpowers. This advice has stuck with me throughout my life and has helped me to continuously evolve both professionally and personally. I aim to prioritize putting my energy into what I am best at and surrounding myself with great people who have different superpowers from me which helps to create harmony and the best outcomes in work and in life.
