As Vice President, Industry Relations, Caitlin McCrory represents Anywhere as a strong advocate within the real estate industry, creating a consumer-centric policy that will get more people into more homes, increasing access and affordability. She sits on the Anywhere Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Advisory Board, which comprises senior leaders from across the business whose role is to both inform and advocate for DEI initiatives across Anywhere and serve as thought leaders in the industry. 

McCrory’s extensive real estate knowledge and expert understanding of data policy, multiple listing services and other critical components of the transaction help move Anywhere to what’s next and shape the future of real estate. McCrory has established a best-in-business industry relations program at Anywhere. She is a go-to voice in the industry as an expert on MLS policy and a strategic policy advocate.

McCrory oversaw the development and execution of the new Anywhere Advocacy program for agent support for or against potential government legislation that could affect the real estate industry in the near or long term, which has become increasingly valuable. McCrory was included on the T3 Sixty Swanepoel Power 200, made up of the most powerful and influential executives in the real estate brokerage industry, as part of its Watch List for her industry communications leadership. McCrory makes sure that the voice of Anywhere remains prominent in the important industry conversations to ensure a better home buying experience for all.

What is one habit that has helped you succeed?

Keep asking questions. I have always been inquisitive and that’s benefited me ten fold in my career. There’s some truth to the saying, “there are no dumb questions”. Especially in this industry where I’ve been lucky enough to work with top thought leaders, it would be such a missed opportunity to not take advantage of their wealth of information. With an earnest approach to learning as much as possible, I am able to better equip myself with the foundation and confidence to move forward and execute on strategic goals.
