Rice Park Capital Management is an investment firm focused on the residential real estate and real estate finance market, investing in mortgage assets (MSR and whole loans) and operating companies with an emphasis on technology-focused businesses. Kelly is responsible for two key areas within the business: operations and finance. On the operations side, Kelly built a state-licensed and GSE-approved master servicing entity and the team to support its operations, including transaction management, servicing oversight, and elements of compliance. This entity is a critical part of our business of investing in MSR and is relatively novel in the marketplace. Setting it up required strong technical knowledge and the ability to procure support from the GSEs.

Kelly also built a finance and treasury team responsible for key elements of corporate planning, investor reporting, accounting, tax, audit, financing, hedging, and liquidity management. This was a monumental task to stand it up in a manner that would satisfy the rigorous demands of our financing, hedging, and limited partner stakeholders.
