As Opendoor’s chief investment officer, Amit Arora has played a pivotal role in refining the company’s pricing strategy, home acquisitions and portfolio management. Under Arora’s leadership, Opendoor achieved significant growth in third quarter 2024, purchasing 3,504 homes — a 12% increase year-over-year — while generating $1.4 billion in revenue, a 41% jump from Q3 2023. His leadership has strengthened team retention, with an average tenure of nearly five years, while expanding Opendoor’s serviceable market to reach more homebuyers and sellers nationwide.
