Justin Foster is the senior vice president of people experience, and he leads critical functions that assure Radian is not only an excellent workplace, but they deliver on the promise of ensuring sustainable, affordable and equitable homeownership. Over the last year, Foster and his team have achieved progress in expanding diversity, equity and inclusion efforts and educating Radian employees, customers and stockholders on the importance of closing the homeownership gap for communities of color and other underrepresented communities.
As one of Radian’s youngest senior executives, Foster brings a fresh perspective and energy to the role of people experience, which focuses on empowering employees to reach their full potential. Under Foster’s leadership, Radian has implemented a variety of transformational initiatives to drive change in the industry. He has led an expansion of Radian’s employee resource groups to foster awareness and celebrate diversity by establishing pay transparency practices, a commitment to equitable compensation and required unconscious bias training for all employees among many other initiatives. Through these accomplishments, Foster has created momentum that will continue to accelerate Radian’s progress in the years to come.
What is one habit that has helped you succeed?
Relentlessly develop skills. Invest in yourself by continually developing your skills and knowledge. I read books, attend conferences, take courses, seek out mentorship and actively seek feedback from my colleagues and teammates. I am constantly seeking out new information and knowledge to improve my skills.
