Terri Waring is SEVP and chief credit officer for Freedom Mortgage Corporation with nearly 30 years of experience in the mortgage industry. Waring oversees the management teams responsible for underwriting and credit risk, including credit policy, underwriting, underwriting training, the company’s First Flyer development (college-entrants program), prefunding quality assurance and the Condo/Coop Project Desk. In total in 2021, Waring was overseeing a department of nearly 1,100 employees.

With extensive knowledge in government policies and investor guidelines, Waring ensures Freedom’s rules-based loan origination platform and employees handling all aspects of loan applications operate with the highest level of integrity to produce quality transactions and customers for life.
