Schmidt knows Mason-McDuffie’s operations platform top to bottom, and has hands-on experience working across nearly every operations role in the company. Starting with the company as a doc drawer in 2013, Schmidt has grown through various departments, over the years managing underwriting, closing and appraisal desk, among other duties, before moving into an SVP role leading key operational initiatives that have helped Mason-McDuffie scale in volume and expand into new markets. Schmidt has been vital to Mason-McDuffie’s successful transition to a digital customer experience and ongoing implementation of new technology to make the mortgage process more efficient for team members and customers.
