The Manufactured Housing Institute (MHI) is a trade organization. It describes itself as the “only national trade organization representing all segments of the factory-built housing industry.” Its membership includes home builders, retailers, community operators, lenders, suppliers and affiliated state organizations.

Founded in 1975, MHI is based in Arlington, Virginia.
