UMortgage built Tempo, a proprietary CRM and sales tracking application designed to turn the daily actions that drive production into a repeatable system for loan originators. By combining relationship management, task execution, and real-time loan insights from UMortgage’s LOS in one app, Tempo helps LOs stay consistent, prioritize the right activities, and connect effort directly to outcomes—without spreadsheets or scattered tools.

Traditional CRMs and sales workflows often rely on manual entry and disconnected reporting, making it hard for LOs to understand what actions actually drive closed loans. Tempo solves this by integrating directly with UMortgage’s LOS to pull live loan and milestone data, linking outreach activities to measurable production events such as credit pulls, pre-approvals, applications, and fundings. New capabilities such as the Referral Partner Relationship Tracker and Lead Tracker introduce scoring and stage-based “journeys” that guide LOs toward the next best actions, while built-in drip campaigns and notes help scale personalized follow-up.

Tempo usage correlates with measurable production growth. In 2025, UMortgage LOs logged 250,000+ sales activities and 100,000+ phone calls, with 180+ active users completing journeys and strengthening referral and lead workflows. UMortgage increased loans closed per LO from 20.35 (2024) to 25.96 (2025)—a 27.6% YoY increase—while Tempo “Power Users” (top activity loggers) achieved 45.6% YoY growth in total loans closed. Overall company revenue rose 15% from 2024 to 2025, supported by consolidation of tools and lower LO software spend through Tempo’s all-in-one system.
