Mike Darne has spent his career at the intersection of financial services, consumer behavior, and emerging technology — navigating through the rise of consumer web, social media, mobile marketing and now the AI era. As Vice President of Marketing at CreditXpert, he has led the marketing efforts behind the company's growth and worked to build broader industry awareness around predictive credit optimization. Before CreditXpert, Mike held senior leadership roles at Capital One where he helped build the bank brand, launched the Quicksilver card, established the company’s first social media team along with cardholder engagement efforts. While at Sallie Mae he built the go-to-market engine for their first consumer web offering. Mike also served as VP of Marketing at Marriott, overseeing rebrands for both Renaissance Hotels and JW Marriott.
Darne joined CreditXpert in early 2021 with over 20 years of brand and marketing leadership experience at companies like Marriott, Capital One and Sallie Mae. He also spent several years leading growth marketing for early and late-stage tech companies. Darne is excited about the impact that credit transparency will have on millions of existing and prospective homeowners.
