AppraiserLoft, a national provider of collateral valuation services today announced that Aman Makkar has resigned as the company's Chief Executive Officer. Taking on an interim leadership role will be Shane Copeland, Senior Vice President of National Sales.
"As the founder and CEO, Aman Makkar has been the driving force and leader for AppraiserLoft and we thank him for his vision and extreme dedication," said Copeland. "It is a small circle of people who can take a company from concept to market leadership and innovation like Aman has accomplished. He has also united an outstanding management team to continue the company's successful growth over the coming years.”
Aman will dedicate efforts to new initiatives in mobile technology not related to AppraiserLoft’s core valuation businesses. This new venture will leverage internal product development expertise to innovate in mobile media.
Shane Copeland has been with the company since 2008, and has led sales and business development at AppraiserLoft. With nearly two decades of mortgage and real estate experience, Mr. Copeland brings extensive experience where he will continue to focus on growing AppraiserLoft’s leadership as an AMC and alternative valuation innovator.
“AppraiserLoft’s success is due in large part to the exceptional relationships we’ve developed with our clients and valuation partners,” said Copeland. “We know that in order to deliver the highest quality valuations, we must dedicate efforts that ensure our appraiser network remains the strongest in the industry.”
