Weiss’s stewardship of a broad array of areas ranging from the company’s nationally recognized economic research, external relations and compliance to regulatory examinations and supervision, human resources and its relationship with its conservator has helped Freddie Mac effectively serve millions of homeowners and renters. In 2021, Weiss was tapped to serve as interim general counsel, charting the legal direction of the company in a time of immense internal and external transition.
