Consumer sentiment decreased in July from last year as well as last month. Some of the decrease can be credited to Brexit, and near the end of July consumers became more optimistic about the state of the economy.
The Massachusetts housing market continues to recover, with the state posting a 66% drop in foreclosure activity from year ago levels in July. The drop follows a series of regulatory and legal changes in the state related to the processing of foreclosures.
