Integrity. Candor. Ownership. Teamwork. Doing the right thing. For more than a decade, these values have represented the mission and philosophy behind the growth of one of the top-rated law firms representing creditor’s rights in Ohio. John Clunk opened his doors in 1998 after working in the mortgage industry for more than 11 years—providing a perspective that still informs the legal work the firm does today.
The firm’s attorneys possess more than 100 years of combined experience in the practice of foreclosure and bankruptcy law. They serve the needs of mortgage lenders and servicers providing complete representation in bankruptcy, eviction, foreclosure, loss mitigation, title, real estate closing, and real estate marketing. The firm is also a member of the Fannie Mae Retained Attorney Network in Ohio.
Clunk’s leadership team stresses the importance of communication, aiming for thorough and complete client relationships. As proof of that commitment, the firm provides personalized training to most of its clients on important legal and management issues, including providing manuals that serve as Ohio legal reference guides for each client.
A proprietary web-based case management system called ED gives the Law Offices of John D. Clunk an edge in interfacing directly with many of the industry’s leading communication and imaging software platforms. Through communication and technology, the firm has grown from a small practice with a handful of employees into a full-service firm with a presence in both Ohio, Kentucky and now Florida.
The firm’s Kentucky office was launched in 2005, when John Clunk and Andrew Paisley partnered to launch Clunk, Paisley and Associates, PSC. In January of 2012, Clunk, Hoose and Associates P.A., was launched adding to a roster of firms in the John D. Clunk family of companies. Clunk, Hoose and Associates P.A. is a full service Florida firm.
Omega Title LLC, another JDC company, includes teams of escrow pros dedicated to providing a title commitment within 10 days or less from anywhere in Ohio.
